Spread Offense
I see in the Daily that the Sooners are going to give the spread a shot. Sounds good to me, Texas Tech and West Virginia sure made mincemeat out of a pretty good Sooner defense using it. Might as well see if it will work for us. Anything to avoid another embarrassment like we witnessed in person the last two yrs in Glendale.

Definately Worth a Try
Another aspect of this is that it will give the defense experience in practicing against it. With the increasing number of teams in the conference turning to this approach practicing against it every day will only make the defense stronger.

Its not that new for us
Tech runs more of a run in shoot offense than a true spread, and WVU uses a run based spread focused on speed and misdirection, which I doubt we will see OU use, unless nichols is QB, personally I love the run spread that WVU and appalachian st. use. I can only imagine what sort of offense wed have if OUs talent level ran this type of offense, well rich rodriguz will be the experiment on this one at michigan so well see how it works out.
Bradford will not be good in a run spread.
he wont
really
never
